Data protection declaration for the use of Google +1

You can publish information worldwide, with the help of the Google +1 button. Via the Google +1 button, you and the other users will receive personalized content from Google and its partners. Google stores both the information that you have pushed the +1 button for a certain content, as well as information about the page that you were viewing, when you clicked the +1 button. Your +1s can be used as references in Google services, together with your profile name and your photo, such as for instance search results or in your Google profile, and they can also be inserted at other locations on websites and in Internet advertisements.

Google records all information about your +1 activities, with the objective of improving Google services for you and others.

To be able to use the Google +1 button, you need a public Google profile that is visible worldwide, which must contain at least the name that was selected for the profile. This name will be used in all Google services. This name it may also replace other names in some cases, which you have used while sharing content via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be shown to users, who know your e-mail address or dispose over other identifying information about you.

Besides the above-mentioned uses, the information that is provided by you will be used according to the currently valid Google data protection regulations (see http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/). Google may publish summary statistics about +1 activities of users, or it may provide the statistics to other users and partners, such as for instance publishers, advertisers or linked websites.
